The Friends of Lake Powell non-profit
organization is seeking monetary pledges to help
offset the costs of responding to these type of
events. Lake Powell exists as a very important
national asset. It is important to continue
spreading the positive message about Lake Powell.
Lake Powell plays a major role in ensuring
reliable water in the western U.S., is a huge
player in the economy of Colorado Plateau and
provide opportunities for the Navajo Nation.
